The Notice Paper is the agenda of the Legislative Council and sets out the anticipated order of business for the Council each sitting day. As the Notice Paper lists all current outstanding business before the Council, not all items are necessarily dealt with each sitting day and individual items of business may be postponed and dealt with on a future day.

A new Notice Paper is published after each sitting day. In accordance with Standing and Sessional Orders, precedence is given to General Business (non-Government business) on Wednesdays and Friday mornings and Government Business on all other days.

Further information about the Notice Paper can be found in Information Sheet No. 4 — Notice Paper.
